The Red Bell Soapbox Race made a triumphant return to Los Angeles on August 20th. Angel Point Road in Elysian Park was transformed into a winding downhill race track for the adrenaline junkies living in this city. It was chalk full of obstacles, sharp turns and jumps that made for dramatic thrills and spills. Thousands came out to cheer on over seventy teams to the finish line.
It was my first Red Bull Soapbox Race, and I couldn’t have had a better time. The event featured creative race car designs and enthusiastic race teams, each who put on a dance skit before taking on the track.
